Jessica and I met while working for The Voice. The second I met her it was like nothing else mattered. Time had stopped, the world stopped spinning and I couldn’t stop staring at this perfect girl. From that moment on, the only thing I wanted was for her and I to fall madly in love. And that we did.
Jessica was patient while I navigated through late blooming stages finally turning into a man. I would ride the bus for 3 hours to visit her in college, and we would just lay there enjoying each others company. At work we found ourselves ‘hanging out’ rather than working. Although she swears I swooned her over my persistence, I think it was because I looked like someone from a boy band.
No matter the hardships or challenges we’ve always remained constant with one another. In my eyes we were married years ago because we had imprinted on each other the day we met. Jessica has helped me shape into the person I’ve always wanted to be. Without her, this “wild man Wade “ (quote by Mary Graham) would be just that. But with her, our differences more than compliment; completing the yin and yang our souls have yearned for.
