<p>It was October 2016. &nbsp;Jessica and her friends dressed up as zombies in preparation to attend a Halloween party in Cedarville, Ohio. Michael and his friends coincidentally went to the same house to meet up with some friends. Upon arriving, Michael noticed Jessica first. Underneath her zombie-makeup, he couldn’t help but notice a gorgeous, kind smile. After introducing himself, sparks were soon flying. 

  





<p>Not long after, Jessica agreed to go on a date with Michael to a local sushi restaurant for her 20th birthday.&nbsp;They&nbsp;went back to their respective homes over Christmas break, but&nbsp;upon arriving back at school, could hardly be separated. During morning, afternoon, and evenings, Michael would find Jessica pouring over her nursing textbooks in the school library, and took up the practice of distracting her from her work just to talk and make her laugh. Jessica loved Michael's company as the two spent time doing some of her favorite things: go to the zoo, play volleyball, and, of course, eat sushi.
The two built each other up with respect to their faith in God and love for one another.&nbsp; 





<p>In autumn of 2018, Michael began attending law school, and Jessica made great efforts to always visit him, go on fun dates, and send him off with food and desserts. One weekend, during a trip to one of Jessica’s most-loved places, the Columbus Zoo, Michael got down on one knee and asked Jessica to marry him. By some miracle, she said yes. The two set the date for December 28th, 2019, in the hopes to celebrate with friends and family.&nbsp;Today, Jessica can look back and know that Halloween was the night she started falling in love with her future husband. Michael looks back and smiles at the thought of getting to marry the girl with the zombie costume.
