Welcome to their love story!Vidal and Jessica met on Hinge, the online dating app, and their journey together is filled with unexpected twists and unforgettable memories. Ironically, they were both "catfishing" each other — not intentionally, but with their own pictures. Vidal had recently gone from having long, flowing curly hair to a buzz cut, while Jessica had transitioned from full, natural brunette hair to nearly blonde. Their first meeting took place on October 6th, 2022, at a ramen spot called Ramen 101. They connected over a simple gift Jessica was giving Vidal that she wouldn’t be using anymore. That initial date sparked something special, and just two days later, Jessica spontaneously invited Vidal to her niece’s birthday party. To her surprise, he met her entire family — a significant step she wouldn’t have taken before. From that moment, they continued hanging out and growing closer with each passing day. They both consider October 12th, 2022, their official first date — a fun adventure to Dixon to navigate the world’s largest corn maze. As their relationship developed, their bond deepened. In February, Vidal was celebrating his birthday, and Jessica helped his sister set up a surprise party. During the preparations, his sister asked Jessica, “What are your intentions with my brother?” Jessica was caught off guard, unsure how to respond because she thought she was just a friend. Ironically, Vidal thought the same. Thanks to his sister, they realized they both had feelings for each other but were too shy to express them. That same day, February 11th, 2023, Vidal asked Jessica to be his girlfriend. Their relationship continued to flourish with shared adventures: celebrating Vidal’s dad’s birthday in March at Disneyland, traveling to Mexico with Jessica’s family in August, and taking their first solo trip together to Orlando, Florida, in November. Each trip made it feel as if they had known each other for years — everything just clicked. Some might say they’re moving fast, but when you know, you know. And for Vidal and Jessica, their hearts led the way, guiding them to this beautiful moment. And on October 10th, 2024, at the very spot of their first date, Vidal asked Jessica the most important question — will she marry him?
