We first met in the year 2015, Jess being a junior in high school and Jake a young 19 year old boy. Although chemistry was immediate, we remained friends for about a year. With a brief loss of contact, the universe kept sending reminders that we were meant to be. We found ourselves running into each other at delis and other social events. With little resistance, our love story began. From our first date at Burgerology, to our "thinking spot", to maintaining a long distance relationship... we chose each other.

On May 5, 2022, Jake got down on one knee, and asked Jessica to marry him which was an easy "YES!". We enjoyed our engagement by creating a home of our own with our two fur babies, Maisie and Beau.
