We first met during our senior year of high school when friends set us up for a dance on September 15, 2018. What started as one night quickly turned into five dances that year and the start of something so special.

After graduation, life took us in different directions. Brenden went to Rockhurst University to play soccer and study accounting while Jessica went to Xavier University to study actuarial science and mathematics. Despite the miles between us, we made long distance work throughout college. In 2023, Jessica graduated and began her career as a benefits administrator while Brenden continued at Rockhurst to earn his master’s degree. By 2024, we were both back home and finally together again!

On March 30, 2025, Brenden asked the easiest question Jessica has ever said yes to, and now we cannot wait to celebrate the next chapter of our story together.
