The story usually begins "Once upon a time...." Well, not this one! It's more like, "So they met at the gym." Katrina and Jessica's love for fitness is what brought them together, and that love for the gym, through the tumultuous time known as Rona, would essentially keep them together. These two came together at a time when there was so much uncertainty in both of their lives. Despite that uncertainty, Jessica and Katrina continued to communicate through all of the social mediums, virtual movie dates, Zoom workouts (thanks to our trainer, MADSoleful), and those infamous 4-hour FaceTime dates. Something was definitely brewing and before they knew it, they would officially be a couple, by way of Jessica asking Katrina on their first date. It wasn't until their first out-of-state trip to Disney World that Katrina wanted to make this trip extra special for Jessica. So on July 10th, 2021, Katrina got down on one knee in front of the Tree of Life at Animal Kingdom and asked Jessica to spend the rest of her life with her. After questioning if this was real life, she did say yes! Jessica wanted to make sure Katrina had the same experience as she did. So on March 6, 2022, on their first cruise together (a Disney one, of course), Jessica got down on one knee at Disney's private island in the Bahamas (Castaway Cay), she asked Katrina to spend the rest of her life with her. After a few moments of catching her breath, Katrina did say yes! Katrina and Jessica enjoy spending time outside (weather permitting, because it IS New England), going to sporting events, and trying to think "out of the box" when it comes to date nights. They share a love of traveling, watching documentaries, and trying new places to eat! They are beyond thrilled to start this next chapter of their lives, and can't wait for you to celebrate with them!
