Will there be food & drinks at the Welcome party?
Food will not be provided so please eat prior to joining us. There will be a cash bar.
Is There a Dress Code?
Yes
Our dress code is Black Tie. To help with any questions or confusion we have attached a picture as well as some ideas to help you picture a black tie affair.
— Formal to semi-formal floor-length dresses
— Suit or Tuxedo (dark colors)
— Darker colors preferred ex. black, navy, dark purple, dark green, etc.
— Absolutely no shorts, jeans, neon or bright colors
Ultimately, we want you all to feel elegant, handsome and beautiful so wear what you feel your best in.

Are kids Welcome?
While we love your little ones, our wedding and reception will be a 18+ event. We want to make sure that we can accommodate as many of our grown-up family members and friends as possible. We would appreciate everyone making arrangements ahead of time and enjoying the night off to celebrate with us.

Are we allowed to bring a Plus One?
Unfortunately, we can only accommodate the guests listed on your invitation. If you have been given a plus one, their name will be stated on your invitation.
When should I arrive at the ceremony?
The ceremony will start promptly at 4:30PM. Doors will open at 3:30. Please arrive AT LEAST 15-30 minutes prior to allow plenty of time for shuttle transportation, parking and seating.
Is transportation provided?
A shuttle will be provided to and from the venue but only from The Embassy Suites Hotel starting at 3:30PM. The last shuttle will be bringing guests at 4:15PM. Look out for the big yellow school bus. It will be looping around every 10-15 mins. The shuttle to leave the wedding will start at 9PM and end at 11:30 PM.
What is the wedding day itinerary?
Ceremony: 4:30 PM
Cocktail Hour will immediately follow the ceremony
Reception: 6:30 PM
The entire evening will be at The Standard
Is the Ceremony inside or outside?
We have decided to have the wedding inside !
What time will your wedding reception end? Is there an after-party?
The wedding reception will go until 11:30PM. Following the reception, if you still wanting to keep the party going, we will be at Wood and Brick Tavern right across from the hotel. The address is: 315 S Main Street Rockford.
Is there parking near the wedding venue?
There is street parking available as well as a public lot right across from the venue. There are also parking garages walking distance from the venue.
