Hey Everyone!
We’re so excited to have you join us for our wedding on 7/12/2025, in beautiful downtown Chicago! While you’re here celebrating with us, we wanted to share some of our favorite things to do in the city. We hope you take some time to explore and enjoy everything Chicago has to offer!
1. Stroll Along the Riverwalk
Start your adventure with a relaxing walk along the Chicago Riverwalk. The views of the skyline are breathtaking, and there are plenty of spots to grab a coffee or a snack. If you're feeling adventurous, consider hopping on a boat tour!
2. Visit Millennium Park
Don’t forget to stop by Millennium Park to see the iconic Cloud Gate (a.k.a. “The Bean”). It’s the perfect spot for a fun photo op, and you can enjoy the beautiful park scenery.
3. Explore Navy Pier
Just a short walk away, Navy Pier is a must-see! With shops, restaurants, and a Ferris wheel, it’s a great place to spend an afternoon. The views of Lake Michigan are stunning!
4. Indulge in Deep-Dish Pizza
You can’t visit Chicago without trying deep-dish pizza! We recommend Lou Malnati’s or Labriola's for a delicious slice of our local favorite. Trust us; it’s worth it!
5. Art Institute of Chicago
For all the art lovers out there, the Art Institute is a treasure. From Monet to Van Gogh, it houses an incredible collection. Take some time to explore!
6. Architectural River Cruise
We love the city’s architecture, and an architectural river cruise is the best way to appreciate it. Enjoy the sights and learn about the history behind Chicago’s stunning buildings.
7. Shopping on Michigan Avenue
If you’re in the mood to shop, head to the Magnificent Mile! There’s a mix of luxury boutiques and well-known brands, so you’re sure to find something special.
8. Catch a Show
Check out what’s playing in the Theatre District! Whether it’s a Broadway hit or a local gem, there’s always something entertaining happening.
9. Visit the Willis Tower SkyDeck
For jaw-dropping views of the city, visit the SkyDeck at Willis Tower. Stand on the glass ledge and take in the skyline—it’s an unforgettable experience!
10. Sample Local Brews
Take a break and explore Chicago’s craft beer scene. We love Revolution Brewing and Half Acre Beer Company—perfect spots for tastings and tours!
11. Relax in Grant Park
Need a moment to unwind? Grant Park is a lovely green space ideal for a stroll or a picnic. Don’t miss Buckingham Fountain; it’s especially beautiful in the summer!
12. Experience Chicago’s Nightlife
After the wedding festivities, check out Chicago’s nightlife! From cozy bars to vibrant clubs, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
13. Transportation: The CTA trains, buses and Uber are super convenient for getting around the city.
