Our Wedding

Our story is a little crazy, but its a beautiful one. We actually met in high school at Righetti because we had mutual friends, but we were both in relationships at the time—we’d only talk sometimes at school when our mutual friends did. But other than that, we never really paid attention to each other. Eventually, we ended up going to different high schools our junior year (he went to Delta, and I went to Grizzly Youth Academy) and we lost touch. Fast forward to the last few months of 2022. He sent me a friend request on Facebook, and I accepted it. He would message me occasionally, trying to start a conversation, but I didnt really engage. Then, on Easter Day 2023, I found one of my dad’s cats, who had been with us for about seven years, had passed away. I posted about it to honor the cats memory, and the only person who reached out to offer condolences was Chandler, who wasnt anything to me at the time. That gesture made me want to start talking to him more, so we did. After about 3 weeks of messaging back and forth, we decided to finally meet in person, and since I had been single for a while, I was very cautious. I asked him to meet me in the parking lot of my old job, where I knew there were cameras, just in case lol. Despite hearing some wild stories about his past, our first night together turned out to be one of the best nights of my life. However, as I was trying to leave that night, my car battery died, and I had to call my dad for help. It was already late, and Chandler made sure he stayed with me until my dad arrived, meeting him on our first hangout! He even stuck around for a while to make sure everything was all good. But from that night on, we were inseparable. We became officially boyfriend and girlfriend on Cinco de Mayo 2023, and two months later, we found out we were expecting our son, Leland, who we absolutely adore. Even though things moved seemingly quickly, it feels like everything happened just as it was meant to, and we couldn’t be happier!

Our Story

For men’s attire, we’re keeping it semi-formal. Dress pants with a button-up shirt works great, and a tie or jacket is optional but definitely makes it look a little sharper for photos. The only thing we ask is to avoid the wedding party colors (burgundy, cabernet, champagne, white, olive green, and turquoise). Safe go-to options would be: 	•	Pants in charcoal, navy, black, tan, or brown 	•	Shirts in light gray, black, soft blue, or a fall tone like rust or mustard 	•	Accessories in jewel tones (plum, marigold, royal blue) or a nice patterned tie if he wants to add some color. Basically, just something polished and season-appropriate!

Also semi-formal. A nice dress, jumpsuit, or skirt/top combo is perfect; nothing too casual, but it doesn’t need to be full formal either! The only request is to also avoid the wedding party colors (which again is burgundy, cabernet, champagne, white, olive green, and turquoise). Great options would be: 	•	Rich fall tones like burnt orange, rust, mustard, plum, eggplant, chocolate brown 	•	Bright pops inspired by Día de los Muertos, like marigold yellow, royal blue, fuchsia, or violet 	•	Neutrals like black, gray, or taupe (always classic and photo-friendly) We just want everyone to look nice and coordinated for professional photos, while still letting you have freedom with your outfit! 📸✨

Dress Code

We are so excited to celebrate our special day with all of you! Guests will enter through The Atrium, where cocktail hour will also be held later in the evening. Upon arrival, there will be signs guiding you to the entrance, and our team will help direct everyone to the ceremony area on the patio of the Avila Room. As you arrive and get settled, water and light refreshments will be available in The Atrium for your comfort while you wait for the ceremony to begin. The ceremony will begin promptly at 3:00 PM. The first two rows of seating will be reserved for immediate family and bridal party (signs will be placed). All other seating is first come, first served. Please sit on either side! No “bride” or “groom” side here. Our families are becoming one!

Ceremony 

Immediately following the ceremony, guests will return to The Atrium for cocktail hour beginning at 3:30 PM. During this time, you can enjoy assorted cheeses, crackers, and fresh fruit, along with a refreshment station offering water, iced tea, and lemonade. Our cash bar will also be open during cocktail hour for anyone who would like to purchase alcoholic beverages. While you mingle, don’t forget to visit the seating chart to find your table for dinner. Our reception will begin at 4:30 PM, and buffet dinner will be served at 5:00 PM. We’ve put together a delicious menu with options for everyone, and children will have their own special buffet (see the Wedding Menu page for details). Throughout the evening, enjoy music, dancing, and a fun photo booth to capture memories with family and friends! We will also have a private bartender serving alcoholic beverages available for purchase at guest-friendly prices. Please note: Our bar will be a cash bar. Please bring cash as drinks will be offered at a discounted rate for our guests and we want everyone to be prepared! To ensure everything runs smoothly and remains private, a small professional security team will be on site for the evening. They’re simply there to help and make sure everyone has a safe and enjoyable time. We truly can’t wait to celebrate this unforgettable day with all of you!

Our wedding ceremony and reception will take place at The Monarch Club at Trilogy Monarch Dunes, located at 1645 Trilogy Parkway in Nipomo, CA. As you get closer to The Monarch Club, you’ll see signs guiding you to the venue. We’ll also have our wedding signs posted to help you find your way.

Directions

Complimentary parking is available in the lots surrounding The Monarch Club. Street parking is also allowed on nearby streets. Some street parking may require a short walk, but all parking is close to the venue.

We wish we could provide transportation for all of our guests, but due to logistics and budget, we kindly ask that you make your own travel arrangements to and from the venue. We’re truly sorry for any inconvenience this may cause, and we appreciate your understanding.
