Andrew met Sara in highschool and became sweethearts. They got married and had 2 lovely boys Joshua & Ethan. Andrew could not be here to join us in our celebrations, however, we know he is in our hearts and will be looking over us as we say our I Do's. Sara has become an integral part of our family, Joshua looks like a spinning image of his father and Ethan has his personality.

Kim was first introduced to Joe through the army. Kim was working under Joe as a financial services administrator. When Jess was promoted at McMaster University with the Department of Medicine, we were having difficulties finding a replacement. Since Joe works in finance, Jess thought maybe she should give the job posting to Joe to see if he knew anyone. Kim applied and was offered the job. From that day forward, since Kim also lives in Brantford, became the start of a budding friendship.

Anna is Joe's sister and is married to Peter with 2 charming children, Nehemiah & Grace. Anna and Joe have been close and often have phone conversations to complain or update about their lives. Anna and Jess have been getting closer over the years and now talk frequently on facebook messenger.

This little girl is so precious! She was only 10 months old when Jess and Joe met. Jess has been in her life watching her grow and transform into an amazing young girl.

Michael and Joe have known each other for just over 33 years, although Joe doesn’t remember the first 5 or 6 because he was a literal baby at the time, Michael has always been there for his little brother Joe. Whether it’s breaking up school fights or taking Joe to his driver’s tests, Michael has become a brother you can lean on. Joe has always admired his work ethic.

Travis and Joe both served with 56 Fd Regt in Brantford ON, although that is not where they first met. Travis, a candidate on his Leadership Course in 2015 met this hard charging staff member as his Section 2IC who would turn out to be Joe. Over the years Travis and Joe have become good friends who can rely on each other. You can guarantee 15 minutes in a room with these 2, and jokes will be flying.

Rick may be one of Jess’ cousins, but over the years he’s also a friend to Joe. Rick and Joe met at one of Jess’ family gatherings. Their passion for the Toronto Maple Leafs slowly turned them into pen-pals who banter about the Leafs and other mutual interests. Rick and Joe both have a military background and thus are able to sync up their sense of humour quite seamlessly.
