What if I can not make it to the wedding?
We will miss you! If you can not make the wedding, please reply “no” to the RSVP as soon as you know. This will allow us to plan accordingly
Can I bring a date?
Though we would love to include everyone, we have a strict guest list due to venue accommodations. Please do not bring anyone unless you are specifically told you have a plus one.
Are kids welcome?
Although we love your little ones, our wedding is an adult only event. This will allow everyone to relax and enjoy themselves during the ceremony and reception. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.
Where can I stay in the area?
We have blocked rooms at the Hampton Inn in Manassas, VA at a discounted rate for our guests. Please see the travel tab for more information.
Where should I send my wedding gift?
Please send all gifts to our home in Las Vegas, Nevada. There will be a card box present at the wedding for any cards or gift cards if you would like to bring them.
Day of Questions
What should I wear?
We would love to see you in dressy casual or semi formal attire.
What time should I arrive?
We recommend at least 30 minutes before the start of the ceremony. The ceremony begins at 2:00 PM. This will accommodate for any pesky Northern Virginia traffic.
Will there be parking? Is it free?
Yes and yes! There will be ample parking at both the ceremony site and the reception venue.
Is the ceremony and reception at the same place?
No, we are having the ceremony at a St. Mary of Sorrow Catholic Church in Fairfax and the reception at Foxchase Manor in Manassas. There is about a 25 minute drive between the ceremony site and the reception hall.
Are all events inside?
Yes, both the ceremony and reception will be in doors. There is a small outdoor courtyard at the venue available to guests for pictures and socialising.
Is there an open bar? Can I smoke?
We are providing an open bar after the ceremony during cocktail hour and the reception. Both the ceremony space and reception hall are smoke free facilities, if you need to smoke we ask you to please go outside and away from the buildings.
Will there be food?
Of course! During cocktail hour there will be an assortment of appetizers both passed around and displayed to hold our guests over until our buffet dinner during the reception.
Is transportation provided?
Unfortunately no, we will not be providing transportation for our guests. Please make arrangements for transportation to and from the ceremony cite and reception cite. Please plan ahead if you are expecting to partake in our open bar.
Do I have to be Catholic to attend the ceremony?
No, the church welcomes all faiths. We will not be having a Mass service or communion as part of the ceremony.
