“So there I was, just a construction guy trying to finish up the theater (operating room), when in walks this new missionary, ready to save the world—or at least help with the finishing touches of project—which, let’s be real, was mostly her saving me from drowning in this mountain of work. We started with some small talk, the usual ‘Hi, how’s it going?’. Then, bam—we discovered we both love Mat Kearney, and suddenly, I’m thinking, ‘Well, this just got interesting!’ Fast forward to now, and we’re planning to be stuck together for eternity. Yep, that’s a really long time…. But hey, I guess it beats small talk forever!”

"I was doing language study in the mornings for several months prior to working in the hospital so thought I would help organize the brand new operating rooms and help with the finishing touches to get it operational. I knew a few facts about Bupe because of my friend, Amber so it gave me a bit of advantage. We chatted that week but then really began to form a friendship several months later. A little over a year later I worked up the courage to tell him I was interested in being more than friends then 2 years later he asked me to spend forever with him, I happily agreed."
