Our story starts a long time ago; we first met when Josh's family had moved from Florida in 2008. We lived just down the street from each other, went to the same church, but officially met on the first day of 4th grade. Saying we couldn't stand each other is an understatement; he liked to pick on me and I liked to pick right back. We rode the same bus and went to the same school all the way up to graduation. Up until 2 months before he graduated we still couldn't stand each other. At some point we started hanging out, talking, and became friends. He invited me to his graduation party, and at that point we both knew maybe there was more to us then being friends. The next month him and I were suppose to go to the movies with a group of friends. The weather had gotten bad a few hours before, and everyone else wasn't able to make it. We decided to still go, but didn't plan on it being a date. However, we ended up getting food after so we called it a date. Fast forward to September of 2016; we officially started dating and this rest is history. We got engaged December 31st, 2017; right after I graduated and turned 19. We decided to wait "just a year or two" to plan a wedding; it has now been 7 years and 2 kids later we finally are making it official.
