It all started with the first date: five hours spent around the backyard fire pit in Waupun getting to know each other. As time went on, boy did the flames grow hotter!

Our first New Year's was spent in Milwaukee- the first of many cities we would visit- and the Beyond Monet Art Exhibit was the first of many events we would attend together.

Our first flight together brought us to Las Vegas- the start of a trip out West with the ultimate destination being Lake Tahoe. On this trip, Justin met Jessica's group of friends for the first time.

As time went on, we realized we both love to stay active, and taking walks in the nearby park, going for hikes, playing yard games, and participating in events like the Fox Cities Half Marathon (Justin participated, supported by Jessica) became common occurrences. Here we are at High Cliff State Park where we enjoyed a picnic after our day hike!

Jessica and Justin also realized they make a great pair in couples costumes! Here we are as Wayne and Garth from Wayne's World for Halloween 2023. Another combo we did was Where's Waldo and Where in the World is Carmen San Diego? for Halloween 2024.

The two of us spent Justin's 36th birthday down in Mexico, enjoying some of our favorite things: good food and great drinks!

Our first attempt at an escape room together was a bust- sorry Vin and Britt Dockery! We did redeem ourselves at our second one with Bob and Janet Drummond in February 2024 though.

Remember when we said the flames grew hotter?! Here we are in Lassen Volcanic National Park where we enjoyed many miles of trails, some with more than 10 feet of snow still, and a couple extra breaks during our hikes to warm each other up. ;)

In July 2024 we attended a Brewer's Game with some of the extended Zimmerman family. This is one of many fun activities we've attended together throughout the course of our relationship, including a Drag Show Bingo event, multiple comedians' shows, many movies at the local theater (mostly Marvel ones), and most recently a Sevendust concert in March of 2025.

One beautiful day in August 2024, Justin had a surprise planned that would change our lives forever. During a "New Driveway Party" at the Oshkosh house, Justin popped the question and Jessica said 'Yes!' Who knew home renovation could be such a blessing?!

Before wedding planning could begin, though, we decided to add to our fur-family first! Jewel, a Great Pyrenees pup, was welcomed to our home in November 2024. We just can't have fewer than six animals at any given time and after Daisy (dog) passed away in March 2023 and Professor (rabbit) in February 2024, the time was right for a BIG new addition.

Wedding planning is well underway and we are looking forward to seeing all of you in October at the start of our next chapter of memories! Remember, 10-4 Good Buddy!
