GETTING TO COMO

You will fly into Milan Malpensa, Milan Linate, Bergamo Orio Alserio or Lugano Agno. Como is easily accessible from all of these airports.

From there, we recommend you hire a car as the public transport connection is not direct and could be complicated in the evening/early morning. You can contact our wedding planner if you prefer to book a driver for transfers to and from the airport.

Uber/Taxi is also available just outside the airport. The price is ~€125 for one way and takes ~1 hour.

Public Transportation

From Milan Malpensa:

Malpensa Express is the fastest way to get to Como. To reach Como from Milan-Malpensa Airport, proceed as

follows:

- Take the Malpensa Express (departing from both terminals) to Milan and get off at Saronno (~20 minutes)

- At Saronno train station, take the train from Milano Cadorna to Como Lago (~40 minutes)

The price of the trip including both routes is €11 (€8 for Malpensa Express and €3 for the Saronno–Como route, operated by Trenord).

From Milan Linate:

The easiest way to get to Como from Milan-Linate Airport is to first take one of the shuttle services just outside the airport to Milan Central Station (~30 minutes).

Then, from there, take the train to Como S. Giovanni station (~40 minutes)

The price of the trip including both routes is €10 (€5 for the shuttle and €5 for the Milan–Como route).

From Bergamo Orio Al Serio:

One of the easiest ways to get to Como from Orio al Serio Airport is to first take one of the shuttle services just outside the airport to Milan Central Station (~1 hour)

Then, from there, take the train to Como S. Giovanni station (~40 minutes)

The price of the trip including both routes is €15 (€10 for the shuttle and €5 for the Milan–Como route).

This is a more expensive option and there is a limited number of rooms which must be booked by December 17, 2024. Five minutes by car from the wedding venue, Villa Flori reveals itself gradually. Hidden from view, overlooking the lake, suspended in time. Just up the road from Cernobbio, but far away from everything.

Cernobbio is a small city located northwest of Como, nestled between Mount Bisbino and the calm waters of Lake Como.

Situated halfway between Moltrasio and Cernobbio, Villa Pizzo is one of the oldest manor houses on Lake Como. It takes its name from the rocky spur on which it stands: in the regional dialect Piz means point or projection. Villa Pizzo and all the annexed buildings are fully visible only from the lake.

It all began in 1435 when Giovanni Mugiasca, a merchant from Como, bought plots of land in the Pizzo area. They were very fertile soils, with lush olive trees and vineyards.

Today Villa Pizzo is the sum of all those who have passed through it, who have loved it and labored for it, leaving within the Villa and its grounds a mark of their personal and professional relationships, their style, their soul, their joys and their toils. Visiting Pizzo nowadays means basking in its history, through the periods of splendor and darkness that swept through the branches of the century old trees and the walls of the Villa.
