Jose and I met at Winter Haven Worship Center. Our meeting story is quite out of the ordinary. I could probably write a book about it. In December of 2020 we began dating and that is where our story begins.
Before Jose and I started to date, Jose would come to my mom's house to help Edwin in the garage or go up in the attic to get a bin or I should say bins down. This was my time to shine. On those days I would get dressed up- trying my best to look cute- I would put on an apron, and start to cook. You know what they say, "the way to a man's heart is through their stomach." And I made my way to his heart in just a month.
A year and a half later here I am engaged.
Ahh, the story every female wants to know.
It's a long one but I will try to keep in short- I said I'll try!
Jose has had a black bag with a lock on it for a year. For a year I have wondered what he could be possibly hiding. On Thursday, June 23, 2022 Jose asked if I would like a number to the lock and of course I said yes, I tried for a few minutes but couldn't figure out the other two numbers or order. Friday, June 24, 2022- Jose gave me the first number to the lock and told me that now with two numbers and knowing where one number goes that if I could figure out the combination whatever was inside the bag was mine. A few minutes pass and right as I was about to give up, the lock opens. I look at Jose with wide eyes. He tells me to go ahead and open the bag and the first thing I see is a black box. So
I look at him, then at Chloe, and I proceed to open it.

The fourth layer- a box that needed to be open
As I open the box I see a Zales box and because of our last experience at Bahama Breeze I said, "watch this be a necklace or earrings." But to my surprise there it was... my engagement ring! I look up and there he is, on one knee asking me to be his forever.
And of course I said yes!
