The story of Jessie and Stephen began in 2019. Stephen went with Jessie to her Spring Formal for Kappa Alpha Theta after meeting her.

After having met that spring at Mizzou, they both had internships in Washington, D.C. for the summer. They spent all summer together and kindled their relationship by exploring D.C., New York, Philadelphia, and plenty of adventures in between. When they weren't on and adventure or at Movie Monday, Stephen was working as a legal intern at Wilkinson Barker Knauer, LLP, and Jessie was a research intern at Howard University and Georgetown University.

After returning to Missouri, they stayed in touch and realized how special their time in D.C. was once they were not together every day. After a few months of seeing each other at each other's schools, they began dating on October 5th.

Covid-19 sprung an early graduation on Stephen and he walked the stage to earn his William Woods University diploma. He graduated summa cum laude with a major in Political/Legal Studies and minors in Sports Management and Spanish.

During quarantine, Jessie and Stephen lived at Innsbrook. They enjoyed the lake life while finishing up online school.

Stephen and Jessie returned to Columbia for school, and Terra made the move to Missouri. Stephen began his first year of law school, and Jessie was going into her Junior year of college.

Jessie and Stephen had their first road trip together to Texas. They ended up getting stuck in Oklahoma on the drive home and Jessie had to get a new car.

Stephen and Jessie took their first vacation together to San Diego, California. They spent a week there, seeing the city, enjoying the views, and eating good food. Jessie also faced her fear of birds for this picture.

The family expanded by four paws! Stephen and Jessie welcomed a black Labrador retriever named Stanley Blue.

Jessie moved into Stephen's apartment, and they began officially living together.

Stephen met the Kansas City side of the family, and they celebrated Grandma and Grandpa Gasser's 65th anniversary.

After two years of adventures and love, Jessie and Stephen went to Naples, Rome and Venice, Italy. Stephen proposed to Jessie at the Trevi Fountain in Rome, and she said yes.

Stephen and Jessie made time for exciting date nights such as playing golf in Busch Stadium!

Stephen and Jessie celebrated the holidays with their families and were so thankful to spend time with loved ones.

Stephen finished his final year of law school and celebrated by attending Barrister's Ball.

Stephen earned his Juris Doctorate! He started working full time for a law firm in Columbia.

Stephen and Jessie closed on their first home and are so excited to build this house together and make memories full of love and laughter!

Another Myer-George Thanksgiving in the books! Next year, we will all officially be family.

Stephen passed the bar and swore in to the Missouri and Federal courts!
