Are kids invited?
Yes! Everyone's invited. There will be lots of space for kiddos to run around on the beach if they get antsy!
Where do we park?
There will be two lots in front of the welcome center blocked off for guests. Once these are filled, there is street parking surrounding the area that is paid by app.
Parking is $25 per day or $5/hour. Meters run 9am - 6pm.
How casual is beach casual?
Whatever you'll be comfortable in on the beach and during the reception! Shorts and sandals are welcome, and feel free to dress up as much as you'd like!
Is it wheelchair accessible?
Yes! There is a ramp in the front for the venue. Beach wheelchairs are also available to rent here: https://www.surfcitync.gov/2413/Beach-Wheelchairs
Will we be indoor or outdoor?
Weather permitting, we will have the ceremony on the beach, and the reception inside the Welcome Center. If we have bad weather. we will move the ceremony inside to the Welcome Center as well.
Dietary Info
We will be having a taco bar, so you can customize your meal to include or avoid anything you want!
What's the Drink Situation?
We will be hosting a beer & wine open bar. No spirits are allowed in the venue.
What should we do with gifts?
Check out our registry for details! Ordering gifts would be ideal over bringing them to the venue if possible.
When Should I Arrive?
Any time after 2pm is great! The ceremony will begin at 3, so feel free to arrive early!
When will the night end?
The reception will end at 9:30 pm, and will likely be having an after party, so stay tuned...

What should we do with photos?
We will have a photographer, but we would also love if you would share photos you take throughout the night with us! You can email them to us at jessieraecaton@gmail.com

Will everything be at the same location?
Yes! We will be at the Surf City Welcome Center for the reception and the ceremony.
What will the weather be like?
October in North Carolina is still pretty warm, with a chance for rain, so we will be keeping an eye on the forecast and move festivities inside if we need to!
