Jessika and Logan first met in 2011 at the recruiter’s station in their hometown. Logan was home on recruiting assistance there, and Jessika was waiting to leave for boot camp. While their careers and service to our country led them in different directions, briefly, it ultimately was the foundation upon which their friendship was built. Over the next several years, life and their work took them to different places and provided them with many experiences that helped shape them into the people they are today. Eventually, in 2018, they both ended up back in their hometown and set out to see where that friendship would lead, and it didn’t take long for them to realize it was much more than that. On June 4, 2023, while Logan was returning home after spending time with his parents, he saw his opportunity to play a prank on Jessika that would end in the biggest surprise! Logan called Jessika and told her they needed to talk about their relationship, leading Jessika to think he was going to break up with her! When he arrived home, his real plans for the future were revealed as he told Jessika they were getting MARRIED!!

Jessika and Logan's story, while far from over, is one of patience, perseverance, and grace. They truly are each other’s BEST FRIEND!
