It was a beautiful April day in South Florida when Justin and Jessika met on an island known as the cove in Fort Pierce, Florida where many boaters anchor for the day to enjoy a miniature oasis. Neither of them expected to meet through two different mutual friend groups but as faith had it, at the very end of their day on the water their paths crossed after the gossiping friends and family encouraged a group photo forcing Jessika to sit right next to Justin. All Justin thought to do as she began walking away was politely introduce himself, ask her name and say it was nice meeting you. He thought he blew any chance of seeing her again being how he forgot a few other key questions, such as getting her phone number. Luckily for Justin, his amazing sister, Jenn, was able to do some investigating and provided him with a name, number, and profession. Jenn's exact words to Justin were, “she’s a nurse practitioner so speak wisely to her” and “text her now, don’t wait”. The best advice anyone could ever give him. A few days later once Jessika's number had been secured, Justin reached out via text saying "Hey, is this the pretty, brown-haired girl I briefly met at the cove last weekend? Jessica?" Two things off the bat against Justin... Brown hair and JessiCa?! Jessika immediately took a screenshot and sent this to her MOH, Danielle, who within moments knew Justin's last name. haha! Jessika and Justin texted back and forth for a week or so before Justin asked if Jessika would like to continue this conversation at dinner. They met one weekday after work at Guanabanas and closed the dining area down. Their next date was at the beach as Justin wanted to do something where Jessika could bring her puppy at the time, Greta. For Greta and Justin, I think it was love at first sight. Justin knew Greta was the way to get in with Jessika and he made every effort to make sure Jessika knew how much he liked Greta. This is the day they shared their first kiss, and the rest is history...

Danielle and Jessika met around the age of 6 when they moved to the same gym for competitive gymnastics. She never let Jessika win... rude. She's the sister Jessika never had but couldn't do life without.

Jessika and Amanda have been besties since 6th grade. They spent majority of high school and college together despite going to rival colleges (GO NOLES!). They often refer to each other as wifey and their song to each other is Mariah Carey's, You Will Always Be My Baby.

Brittany aka Beans and Jessika met in the 6th grade when Brittany walked into class with 2 other girls who immediately sat together in the back forcing Beans to sit in the front row (I know I know) next to Jessika. The 2 girls she walked in with were teasing her and Beans said "whatever I get to sit next to... turns to Jessika and says "what's your name?"... and the rest is history.

Jessika and Evelina met in NYC through Evelina's brother Richard. Best friends was a term thrown around from the moment we met.  Jessika's NYC experience would not have been the same without Evelina and her family and she often was considered the second wife. Despite her own crazy busy life with 2 kids, Evelina always finds the time to provide endless amounts of advice, fun, support, and love.

From kindergarten, to high school, to FSU, and adulthood, Jessika and Jackie aka Jax have been through it all together. Jax keeps everyone laughing and is always ready to hit the dance floor.

Rachel was Jessika's first friend at Jupiter High School. She is often the person Jessika goes to when she needs to hear the brutal honest truth and she is someone Jessika can always count on to be in her corner.

Stephanie was Jessika's Craigslist Killer Roomie in NYC.  Despite being a business owner, military wife, and mom of two little boys, Steph always finds ways to spend time with her friends and support them in whatever they are working towards. She is definitely the person Jessika looks to when she wants to make a dream happen.

Jenn is one of the most important people in Justin's life and she has quickly become someone important to Jessika as well. As Jessika always says, "I hit the SIL jackpot!".

Although they didn’t officially meet until later in life, Thomas and Justin played football together during the pre high school ages. After they began working together and a few snowboarding and hiking excursions there was an immediate brotherhood.

Justin’s nephew whom was technically the little brother that Justin never had. As both grew older Dylan quickly turned into one of Justin’s best friends. Dylan is even friends with most of Justin’s friends whom also treat him like their younger brother.

A true work friend turned into best friend, Bryan was a guy who made Justin feel like he belonged more than most. The adventurous traveler who taught Justin how to “Live his life”.

To say he is only Justin’s brother is an understanding statement. Although their relationship really didn’t begin to form until after college he is now one of Justin’s biggest role models and the one he calls for motivation.

 Justin and Kyle met in high school playing football. Anyone who played team sports can attest to the bond that is built when battling in the trenches with someone. Kyle was one of Justin’s longest friendships that will never fade.

Justin will never be able to describe just how much Joe means to him. More than a brother in law, almost more like a father. Joe is one that continuously teaches Justin how to be a good man.

 Eric was Justin’s first friend in college that only grew stronger as the years went on. From introducing him to many friends in school to making him feel at home when giving him his actual room when worked together all the way in Virginia. 

Eric Kronenwetter 

 Rick was Justin’s best roommate in school and played a huge role in helping Justin transition from high school to college through teaching him about maturity, healthy relationships, and that love still exists. They may or may not have met Jack Nicholson during one of their nights out in college. 

Richard Lynch

Josh is Jessika’s middle brother and best friend. Justin kinda likes him too haha! In all seriousness, when Justin and Jessika thought of who they wanted to marry them, Josh immediately came to mind. He’s been with us from the beginning and watched our relationship grow. Always Jessika’s biggest supporter. And for those of you who know Josh, he’s pretty freaking funny!

Blair is Jessika's only niece and little bestie. Jessika loves all the time she gets with her doing all the girl things and is cherishing these moments while they last!

Jan's Place Restaurant and Bakery

This beachfront bar and grill has been in business since 93 and has outlasted the multitude of hurricanes Florida has endured. It provides great local atmosphere with beautiful views, great seafood, and happy hour Mon-Fri from 3-6PM.

Shuckers

This restaurant is located right next to the hotel and has become a favorite of Justin and Jessika's. One of the well-known steak houses in the area that can provide you with a mixture of fine dining as well as live music with indoor and outdoor seating and of course the ocean views.

Kyle G's Prime Seafood & Steaks

This location provides a mixture of local eats as well as fun night life with a DJs and live music being offered on a regular basis. Justin and Jessika may or may not have closed the place down with their poodles on their recent anniversary.

Mulligan's Beach House Bar & Grill Jensen Beach

This is a beautiful hiking trail Justin would often go hiking and fishing as a child and young adult that offers great scenery true native Florida scrub land. The savannahs are also a major part of the drainage system and water retention/filtration of the area during our rainy season.

Savannas Preserve State Park-Hawk's Bluff Trail

This is a delicious ice creamery right across the street from the hotel that Justin would frequent as a child.

Strawberry's Deli and Ice Cream

Just one of the many different beaches that are within walking distance of the hotel. That if you are looking for something more than the private beach that the hotel also has to offer.

Jensen Beach

There are many options for golf courses within the area, but this one is the closest ones to the hotel if you happen to have interest in enjoying a round of golf during your stay in the Treasure Coast.
