China Requires a travel visa for Americans to enter the country. We strongly recommend applying for this at least 1-2months in advance of your trip. The process requires your passport to be mailed or taken to a Chinese embassy in NYC or DC. We will doing a group order of these at at discount rate in the Raleigh area, please reach out to Dan or Dani if you would like to be included.

We promise to get you to Dani's home town and back safe!!
If you are coming from the US, we recommend that you purchase a round trip flight from your home to Beijing or Shanghai. This will allow for more flexibility in your travel plans and is a cheaper option than flying direct to Dani's hometown. Once you get to Beijing or Shanghai,
Speed Trains or Chines Domestic airlines are the easiest way to get around China. Please feel free to contact Dani or Dan if you need any help booking these!
This is the airport closest to Dani's Hometown. We recommend arriving April 29th or early April 30th.
You will need to include the details of your flight or train so that Dani and I can arrange transportation for you from the airport to her hometown. (~1.5 hour car or train ride)
If you would like to travel by train to Dani's hometown you will need to get a ticket to Jiaozuo Railway station. This is very close to the hotel you will be staying, if you choose this option please contact Dan or Dani with any questions about taking trains in china.
Dani and I will help reserve hotel rooms in Jiaozuo. Rooms will be very reasonably priced and can hold 2-4 people per room. Please include in your rsvp how many rooms/nights you will need in Jiaozuo.
