The Bride and Groom

Jill and Anthony met at Saint Vincent College their junior year. Jill majored in Economics and Anthony majored in Accounting. In the early weeks of the school year, Anthony introduced himself to Jill while they were tutoring underclassmen and was uncharacteristically talkative for three hours. Jill was immediately interested while Anthony required some massive hint dropping from Jill to understand that. Throughout college their paths had crossed many times in class, the library, and mutual friends, but they never actually met until that night.

Jill relocated to Scottsdale, Arizona immediately after college while Anthony stayed in Pittsburgh. Anthony & Jill drove from Pennsylvania to Arizona together and learned quickly that they never tire of each other. When Anthony walked towards the gate in the airport to fly home that first time, Jill realized she wanted to spend her life with him. So, Jill made her way back to Pittsburgh exactly a year later (with a big sigh of relief by all four parents). Eventually, Jill & Anthony purchased a house 1/2 a mile away from Anthony's parents this year and have been working on making it a home - thanks for all the help, Tom Rosso!

Jill and Anthony love to spend time with each other exploring new places. From exploring Phoenix, sightseeing in Joshua Tree, or hiking in the good ol’ Laurel Highlands; as long as they are together, they are happy. And of course, Nick Lentz has to be there as well. He was there on their first date so logically he was there when they got engaged. Anthony asked Jill to marry him on March, 27, 2021 at Wolfs Rocks on a hike with Nick. Anthony planned to take Jill on a hike they’ve done many times before. Seems like an obvious place to propose, right? When you ask Jill if she was surprised she will respond “I can honestly say I didn't expect Nick to be there when you proposed but I should’ve known better.”
