The first message. I hooked, line, and sank him! Don't say girls cant make the first move!

We didn't let distance stop us! Aaron quickly set up a date. He planned a lunch, and a walk by the river where we spent HOURS talking. I knew he was special, so I asked if he wanted to take a picture for us to remember our first date.

2nd date was in Melbourne. We played mini-golf and then Aaron surprised me with a beach picnic with all of my favorite foods! Including a snack for the road!

The date we became official :) Aaron was so eager to ask me that he asked me in the parking lot before entering the botanical gardens.

Thus started the traveling to each others homes. Sometimes we would go a few weeks without seeing each other, sometimes if we were lucky we got to spend multiple weekends together. This is from my first trip in Lakeland!

Our first trip together. We flew to Iowa for Aaron to meet my parents - and to ask a special question!

Our second trip meeting my brand new nephew, Sutton. My best friend (and matron of honor) lives in Minneapolis, and took us to do all the fun fall things we don't get to experience in Florida.

Our third trip to hang with the Berling's (Aaron's best man) in Lancaster, PA. We ate our way through Amish Country!

We are engaged! Aaron asked me in one of our favorite parks by pulling out a lanyard with "Mrs. Johnson" on it and then getting down on one knee! The giddiest "YES!" of my life!
