Our Wedding

Jill and Jordan met at the beginning of their sophomore year at Stevenson University. It was during the first weekend of classes where Jill saw Jordan at a party and asked her friends "who is that" (keep in mind Stevenson is a small school so you know everyone). No one knew who he was so she just carried on with her evening. They started to run into each other on campus and eventually started to hangout with mutual friends.

It all started with chocolate milk...

One night Jordan texted Jill saying he was running to Wawa and asked if she wanted anything, and if you know Jill, you know she said yes :) They hopped in Jordan's car and off they went both awkward and nervous to be finally hanging out together. Along the drive, Jill pointed out several car dealerships saying how she wanted all these different fancy cars, Jordan's response was "I'll buy you one someday". It was then when Jill knew he was a keeper!

At Wawa they walked around the store trying to decide what to get. They bonded over their love for chocolate milk and left the store each with a bottle in their hand. From that point on they were inseparable.

They supported each other (on and off the field) through the rest of their time at Stevenson and enjoyed every second.

Shortly after graduation, Jill and Jordan took a trip to Boston to figure out a plan and a place to live for their next adventure. Jordan popped the question on July 3, 2019 and shortly after they made their big move to Boston. Jordan completed Grad School and Jill worked hard to get her foot in the door of the working world. If that wasn't enough excitement for you, along the way their fur baby Dunkin came into the picture and made them happier than ever.

After many lobster rolls, Red Sox games, and plenty of cold weather it was time for their next adventure. Along with Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski, we traded in our snow boots for some flip flops.

Jordan and Jill were both offered fantastic job opportunities down in the Sunshine State and knew they had to go. After a very long road trip consisting of too many pit stops, a puppy in the backseat and running on lots of coffee, they made it to their new home of Saint Petersburg, Florida.

Jill and Jordan could not be happier living in the sunshine everyday with their dog Dunkin and can't wait to show you around the place they call home.

Speaking of home...we recently purchased our first house! We are so excited to be starting another amazing chapter together and we can't wait to finally have a place to call ours!

Tampa International is the closest airport. It is a 13 minute ride to the hotels and wedding venue.

The 2 hotels listed below are suggested for guests to stay in. There are no room blocks for the wedding so you can book your stay wherever best suits you. Both of the suggested hotels will be transportation stops for the Water Taxi which will be the form of transportation to take you to and from the wedding venue.

Hotel Tampa Riverwalk 

You are more than welcome to stay in other hotels in the Tampa area or even an AirBnb! Just please note that the transportation will only pick up and drop off from our 2 suggested hotels. You can still utilize the Water Taxi for transportation just please make sure you go to one of the 2 suggested hotels to catch it. Looking for other hotels in the area? This is a great hotel option and is located right next to The Hotel Tampa Riverwalk! You can utilize the Water Taxi stop at The Hotel Tampa Riverwalk when staying at the Aloft!

If you would rather stay with a group of friends, Airbnb has a ton of amazing options in the Tampa area! We suggest using the wedding venue address when searching for a house so that you are relatively close for the festivities!

Transportation

Water Taxi transportation will be provided to and from the wedding venue from the 2 suggested hotel options. The water taxi will take you to the wedding venue and then take you back to the 2 suggested hotels after the wedding. Schedule: Pick up Round 13:40pm - Marriott Hotel3:50pm - Riverwalk Hotel4:05 - Arrive at Tampa River Center Pick up Round 2:4:25pm - Marriott Hotel4:35pm - Riverwalk Hotel4:55pm - Arrive at Tampa River Center The water taxi will also drop back off at these locations once the wedding is over.

The schedule times listed above are the times when the water taxi will PICK UP. Please arrive at least 5 minutes early to make sure you are there on time. Pick up location for the Marriott:Look for the yellow circle Water Taxi sign. There is a big stop outside the hotel. If you have any questions you can ask the front desk for directions to the water taxi stop. Pick up location for Riverwalk Hotel:If you exit the hotel back by the pool area there will be a yellow sign for the Pirate Water Taxi to the left. The stop is on the same side as the hotel NOT across the river. If you have any questions you can ask the hotel for directions to the water taxi stop.

Take a trip to one of the top beaches in the US! St. Pete Beach is one of our favorite spots to soak up some sun and makes for a nice relaxing day. There are many beach access points and parking lots along Gulf Blvd. You will have to pay to park so we suggest downloading the ParkMobile App (it is a bright green logo). Two main parking &amp; beach access points are listed below:- 4700 Gulf Blvd, St Pete Beach, FL 33706- 6850 Beach Plaza, St Pete Beach, FL 33706 There are different cabanas that allow you to rent umbrellas and chairs! We suggest bringing some cash if you can!

Take a walk down the St. Pete Pier and find yourself at a rooftop bar overlooking the whole city of St. Petersburg and the Tampa Bay! Paid parking is available onsite.

Armature Works is a fun and historic place offering an upscale food court with a rooftop bar &amp; lounge right on the water. A great spot to get a drink, enjoy DELICIOUS food and relax!

Cruise on a floating tiki bar down the Hillsborough River by skyscrapers, Tampa’s Riverwalk, and through downtown Tampa! Such a fun way to relax and get a tour of the water way. Great to do with a small group of friends and you can bring your own alcoholic beverages of choice, food or snacks. Why pay for over priced drinks at a land bar, when you can bring your own drinks on a floating Tiki Bar!

Visit Sparkman Wharf! This is a modern waterfront area featuring hip restaurants, some shops, a beer garden &amp; street-food stands! A great spot to walk around and get some yummy local food!

Florida is home to many MLB Spring Training sites! We highly recommend trying to catch a game if you have free time!
