They met in the slums of Lowell while attending university.

Jill had a Benj spotting for the first time at the campus recreation center for an ROTC dodge ball fundraiser. Ben didn't notice her.

She later had more Benji sightings at UML hockey games but never struck up a convo.

Best friend Amanda was going to a party at the dentist's office, (Ben's bachelor pad) and invited Jill and friends. They happily went and this was when Jill was first introduced to the bung (short for bunghole) (AKA Ben).

The bung was a great host, making Amanda and friends mac and cheese (too sticky for Jill's liking) but she would never admit it. Ben will still say to this day that it was perfect.

They had hung out a few times and Benj was ready to take this fine goddess out on a date. But the Jillj was playing hard to get.

Finally, Ben spoke to Amanda and voiced his frustration. He wanted to take the next steps but Jillj was shy. He knew that they would be perfect together. And he was right.

Ben and Jill's First Kiss September 29, 2012

The setting - Smokehouse Tavern, Lowell

Ben was now 21 and was hitting the bars weekly. He knew Jill only had a couple of weeks to go before she turned 21. Ben called some favors and got her in equipped with "under 21" wrist bands and dark black X's on her wrists. Jill ventured in for her first night on the town.

Long story short, X's were erased, bands were removed, the first kiss was on the dance floor, and Jill ended up getting kicked out of the bar. (After throwing up all over the bathroom).

Ben and Jill's relationship grew. Ben lived in Nashua NH, while Jill Elaine finished up her last year studying to become a Registered Nurse.

After Jill finished school, they moved in together in 2014! So fun. Boxborough, MA was their first home. They then later moved closer to Boston residing in Waltham, MA. (where they currently reside) Here they live happily with their two fish tanks and a dog... minus the dog.

After four years, Ben asked his best friend to marry him in Central Park on November 19, 2016.

It was a girl's trip to the city, or so Jill thought. They spent the day in the city exploring, eating yummy food, and having fun. It was time to meet a friend in Central Park, so on they went. Venturing into the park, exploring the sights, they marveled at the foliage. Approaching Bethesda Fountain, there he was! The Benj! In the flesh. Supposed to be in MA, Jillj was confused, but really she knew what was about to happen.

The bung got on one knee and asked Jill to marry him. Without hesitation she said YES! Family hiding nearby creeped out and they all celebrated!
