Eddie and Jill first met where all great modern love stories start... Hinge. They connected over their mutual love of Whole Foods, Jimmy John's Unwiches, and their mutual hatred of electric scooters in Chicago. They first met in person at Bar Sotano, an intimate mexican restaurant in the heart of River North. They continued talking over the next several weeks going on several dates. Jill knew he was the one when he invited her over to his place to cook for her. Red wine and sizzle fish ended up being the start of their love story.

Everyone's world was then rocked by COVID and this ended up progressing their love story even futher. They spent nights at each others places cooking and spending hours getting to know everything about one another. After four months of dating, Eddie decided to make things official on Jill's balcony at One West Superior apartment. From that moment on they were inseparable and spent most days together.

Eddie quickly began to fall in love with both Jill and Maizie and decided to ask them to both move in March of 2022. From there on they become each others best friend who enjoyed doing everything from traveling the world together to putting together their new ten-foot wardrobe to fit all of Jill's clothes in.

They both knew they wanted to spend the rest of their lives together, so on September 14th Eddie proposed on the river walk in Chicago. With the help of Jill's cousin/future maid of honor and friends, Eddie pulled off one of the biggest surprises and got down on one knee on a bed of red roses with Art in the Mart on the Merchandise Mart playing behind them.

Eddie and Jill are so excited to get married and celebrate with the people that mean the most to them in the city in which they fell in love.
