Want to know how to get from London to Glasgow by train? We have gathered for you all the useful information about this trip!


The fastest trains from London to Glasgow take around 4 hours and 29 minutes.


On weekdays, the first train leaving London is scheduled to depart at around 5:30am. The last departure is usually at around 11:53pm. On Saturdays and Sundays, trains leave London at around 6:05am, with the last train leaving at around 11:30pm. There are frequent services on this particular rail route. On average, there are about 27 trains per day traveling between the two cities. They leave approximately every 31 minutes.


Prices for a single ticket between the two cities start from US$42.49.


Trains in Europe are very nice (unlike the U.S.) Pro tip- you can bring food and drinks on the train. Tickets are not assigned seating, but that is not necessary.

Traveling to Ireland?

There is a ferry available 20 minutes from the Dunskey Estate which will take you to Belfast.

Link to the Stenaline for booking. Select from Cairnryan (Stranraer) to Belfast. Travel time is 2.5 Hours.
