What happens if you do not RSVP in time?
If we do not receive an RSVP back by April 30th, it will be marked as a "No." We will miss you celebrating with us, however we have to provide total guest counts to the venue in the timely manner that they have given to us and cannot accept any late RSVP's due to this.
What time should I arrive for the ceremony?
Please plan to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the ceremony to allow ample time to park, walk to the ceremony grounds, and find your seat.
Where do I park?
When you arrive at the Chesapeake Inn at 605 2nd St, please pull up to the valet stand at the front entrance. Complimentary valet parking is provided. If you are drinking, please have a designated driver or an uber. We want to ensure everyone gets home safely!
Is the ceremony and reception at the same location?
No. The ceremony is located at "The Chandler House" property that is a short walk from the Chesapeake Inn. The address of the ceremony location is 105 George St, Chesapeake City, MD 21915. However, please arrive and park at the reception location at the Chesapeake Inn.
Is transportation provided to and from the ceremony?
For those who are unable or do not wish to walk from the Chesapeake Inn to the ceremony location, there will be a golf cart on site to take you to and from. Please advise the valet service attendants if you would like to be accommodated.
Can I bring a guest/date?
Due to limited capacity we will only be able to accommodate those specifically listed out on your invitation. Thank you for your understanding!
Are children allowed at the wedding?
We have chosen to make our special day an adults-only celebration to ensure all guests, especially parents, can fully immerse themselves in the joy of the occasion. We hope this advance notice means you are still able to join us for our big day! Your understanding means the world to us, and we can't wait to celebrate with you.
What is the dress code?
We would love to see our friends and family get dressed up for our big day! The dress code is semi-formal/cocktail attire. This means no blue jeans, sneakers, or casual wear. Our wedding color theme is garden tones such as sage & blush. We ask that you refrain from wearing anything white, ivory, champagne, or cream colored.
Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
Both! The ceremony will be held outdoors, and the cocktail hour & reception will be indoors. In the event of inclement weather, the ceremony will be held at the reception location.

Can I take photos/videos?
We will be having an UNPLUGGED ceremony! We will ask that everyone puts their phones and cameras away for the entirety of the ceremony. This is the moment we are looking forward to the most and we want everyone to be completely immersed in the moment with us. Our amazing photographer will be present to capture our ceremony. With that being said, once the ceremony has concluded, feel free to take as many pictures and videos as you want! We can't wait to see them :)
Will there be an open bar?
Yes! We will have a full bar supplying unlimited drinks all night long.
Is there an after party?
There can be! If you're not done celebrating, you may head down to the "deck" at the Chesapeake Inn to continue the party. Please remember to drink responsibly and have a designated driver in place!
