People say "let your heart be your compass." That couldn't be more accurate for Jake and I. We literally met at Compass Tavern in Worcester six years ago. Our first few dates were far from perfect. On our first date I wore my shirt backwards. On the second date we literally couldn't find each other in the parking lot. Then there was our third date, where I "made" Jake dinner using a frozen bag of Bertolli pasta. But the best part of our relationship has always been our ability to have fun and laugh together, no matter how crazy the situation may be. From our first(less than ideal) apartment together, to our 36 hour bus ride back from New Orleans, to living through a global pandemic together—we've been through it all! But in between all the crazy moments were the good moments. Our favorites include trying new experiences and food together, exploring new places, and just relaxing and talking with each other every night. On August 6, 2022, Jake made the best decision of his life and proposed to me. It was the best day ever. Now we own a home together and live with our dog Franklin (who is obviously the other love of our lives). We are so excited to be married and to have our friends and family there with us to celebrate!
