While most of you probably know the story of how we met, we must admit, we never grow tired of sharing it!

To try to keep it short and sweet, Frank and I met outside of our shared apartment complex one autumn morning in October 2020. While we only chatted for a few minutes, there was an instant spark. Frank made his way into NYC later that day to meet up with his best friend Nick Morisano and his father (also Frank), only to share that he had met "a very nice girl" earlier that morning.

Over the next couple of weeks, we chatted "across the way", shouting to one another across our balconies, most of the time only catching half of what the other was saying - a true modern love story. At some point, Frank was outside playing his guitar singing Bruce Springsteen and that's all it took for me to know that he was something special. Assuming he was from New Jersey given the "Springsteen serenade", I was surprised to learn that Frank was from Staten Island and shared that my parents were also from "The Rock". Little did we know, Staten Island was not the only connection between us.

Fast forward to Christmas 2020 where Frank made his way over to Nick's house, to celebrate the holiday with a few close family and friends. When Nick's father asked Frank how he was doing, Frank responded by saying "Remember that nice girl I was telling you about? Her parents are from Staten Island..." And in true New York fashion Frank Morisano asked "What's her last name?"

From there, it didn't take long to make the connection that Frank and Lisa Morisano, as well as Glen and Jenny Markoe, knew me since I was born, considering they've been best friends with my parents, Harry and Rosemary, since high school! Needless to say, that night turned into quite the party (although let's be honest, it would have either way!) and Frank knew he had to ask me out when he returned to Hoboken (did he really have a choice?!)

The rest can probably be called history or just simply, our reality. We knew we loved each other from the moment we met and have embraced that love every day since. We are happiest when we are together and have built a relationship around trust, respect, and unwavering appreciation for one another. Our marriage will be a continuation of what we already experience every day - a love that was just meant to be.
