What should I wear to the ceremony and reception?
We kindly ask our guests to wear formal attire. For women, ankle- or floor-length dresses are preferred. For men, suits (with jacket and tie) are preferred. We ask that you avoid animal prints.
Our wedding color palette is available in the Photos section of the website if you’d like a bit of inspiration!
Where can I stay?
For the full Disney experience, staying at a Disney resort is best. Luxury options include the Grand Floridian, Contemporary, and Polynesian Village Resorts, all with easy Monorail access. Mid-range choices like Port Orleans Riverside, French Quarter, and Caribbean Beach offer charm and family-friendly vibes. Budget-friendly options include Pop Century and Art of Animation, with Disney transportation included.
If you prefer off-property hotels, nearby options like Waldorf Astoria and Hilton Bonnet Creek offer luxury without the Disney prices. Near Disney Springs, Hilton Lake Buena Vista and Drury Plaza provide comfort, free breakfast, and shuttles to the parks. For budget stays, try Holiday Inn Disney Springs or SpringHill Suites Flamingo Crossings.
Our families will be staying at Solara Resort, which has spacious accommodations and is a short drive from Disney. We recommend booking early. If you need help or have questions, feel free to reach out! We can’t wait to celebrate with you and hope your stay is magical!
What is the closest airport?
If you're flying in for the wedding, the most convenient airport is Orlando International Airport (MCO).
What's the best way to get from the airport to Disney World?
Located just 25 to 35 minutes from Disney, MCO offers a wide variety of transportation options to get you to Disney quickly and easily. You can choose from rideshare services like Uber or Lyft (typically $35–$50 one-way), shuttle services such as Mears Connect (around $17.60 per adult), or private car services, which are ideal for groups or anyone looking for a more comfortable ride. Rental cars are also available at the airport.
How'd you meet?
We met while participating in the Disney College Program in Orlando, Florida, a time in our lives filled with magic, new friendships, and unexpected adventures. What started as a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity turned into the beginning of something truly special.
Our paths crossed during Jillian's temporary transfer to Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. As fate would have it, that short-term move became a life-changing moment for both of us. From the very first conversation, there was an undeniable spark, a sense of comfort and connection that felt natural and immediate.
Working together in such a vibrant and fast-paced environment gave us the chance to truly get to know each other, whether we were sharing laughs during late-night shifts, navigating the daily Disney hustle, or sneaking away for Dole Whip breaks between tasks. It didn’t take long before casual chats turned into real conversations, and our friendship quickly grew into something deeper.
The Disney College Program gave us more than just career experience, it gave us each other. What began in the heart of the most magical place on earth has led us on an incredible journey, and we’ve been writing our own story ever since.
What type of food will be available at the reception?
