Our Story

Jill had just moved to Virginia shortly after graduating from Liberty University - ringless by spring. While attending her first young adult Bible study at McLean Bible Church, she briefly met an interesting guy named Pablo - she would soon learn his name is actually André, not Pablo. After re-meeting each other 3 times within one week, André finally remembered her name and they were quick friends. André took his chance and DM'd Jill via Instragram to hang out - and was shut down. This made him like Jill even more, and after many hours talking over the phone, both Jill and André had developed crushes. A month into being friends, André asked Jill out on a date when he couldn't stop thinking about her on vacation in Miami. Fast Forward 2 years, and they're planning their wedding!

André and Jill met at their young adult Bible study only a month before this. They quickly became friends, and after André persuaded Jill to go bachata dancing with some friends, they stayed up talking with each other outside until midnight. André took this photo on his polaroid that night, marking the first of many photos together.

Their first date! André made Jill dinner and they watched a movie together, shortly followed by him asking Jill to be his girlfriend. He was soooooo smitten.

They're engaged! André made the smart decision of proposing to Jill in the morning, knowing that Jill's brain is only at 2% before 10am, and she was genuinely surprised! Jill thought the proposal would happen a month later! They celebrated the happy day with family and friends.
