As we know, Filipinos are well known for throwing festive parties. It is an amusing fact that within this culture, everyone is well connected. This beautiful love story began with the power of instant connection and how it brought two lovely people together.

Jill and Rap first crossed paths on November 9, 2014, during a double birthday celebration of Jill’s two younger sisters where both of their families and friends were present. After a whole night of light-hearted bantering, they exchanged numbers, and their first date took place shortly after. It was an immediate attraction that further intensified as the days passed by spending time together.

They spent months apart pursuing a long-distance relationship as Jill had to leave for Africa to work. Indeed absence makes the heart grow fonder, and it led them to pack their bags and move in together after over a year of yearning for each other.

Six years later, they are still deeply in love and enjoy cuddling with their two beloved cats, Momo and Roku. During a workout session in the gym, Rap pretended to be injured, then suddenly got down on one knee and finally popped the question, to which Jill said yes!

More than a year after the Oscar-worthy proposal, they are now officially tying the knot and excited to be sharing this special occasion with the people dearest to them at their favourite place surrounded by the beautiful Rocky Mountains. They are looking forward to this new journey that they will share for the rest of their lives.
