Our story began back in 2013 when we both went "fishing" on a dating website called POF (Plenty Of Fish). There is a back story on that as well, but we are limited on space to discuss it here. Lisa, skeptical about being on a dating website, saw my profile and was "hooked". She recognized my profile picture and decided to perform a background check by consulting with family & friends. I guess I must have passed as she decided to reach out to me on Facebook to find out my favorite "fishing spot". The bait was set, and we had our first date at Ryan’s Lookout in Henderson Harbor, NY (Mary Lou we love & miss you as she owned the restaurant) on Friday the 13th (9/13/13). Since that date, we have enjoyed each other’s company and shared numerous wonderful memories together. We have been extremely fortunate over the years to travel to many destinations like Ireland, Caribbean Islands, California, Colorado, Florida, Pennsylvania and other undisclosed "fishing" locations. Many of them we have shared with our kids, Maria, Nick, Ashley & Kierstin and their spouses Zack, Emily, Brandon & Travis. We will forever cherish these special times together with our children and look forward to many more. Throughout the last 12 years together, we have worked together on many home improvement projects from our own, our kids, our neighbors, and especially our family & friends. It truly has been gratifying for us to be able to help our family & friends and that is why we want to share this very special day (our wedding day) with you as we celebrate our love for each other. The best catch is that each one of you are our ecosystem, allowing us to flourish and grow stronger together. Thank you for sharing this day with us and being our school of fish!!!
