Raised in Florida, lived in Poland, moved to the Great North. A wandering spirit, I never could have guessed that the love of my life would be rooted in a place I thought would be another stop on my journey. Let alone, that it would be someone who would inspire me to stay here.

As I look back on our growth together, I see God's hand over us. How He put us together to grow our relationship with Him. Every conversation, every desire, every aspiration we have shared has been a call to lean into Him. We have prayed constantly to keep Him as our center and He has blessed us with spirits of love, understanding, compassion and forgiveness that we will cultivate for the rest of our lives.

Four days after my birthday, Aunt Judy asked Faith and I to dinner with our cousin, Riley. Little did I know he'd bring his friend - yup, my future HUSBAND!

When I look into those blue eyes of the boy who loves Jesus, photography, travel, the outdoors, and a relaxing morning with a cup of tea - I see Him so evidently. He radiates Christ-like masculinity, peace, understanding, forgiveness, courage, and love - and he motivates me to continue to build upon His Rock. We cannot be shaken. A lifetime of cultivating a life for His Kingdom, with the end goal of getting each other through the gates of Heaven. He is many answered prayers and a blessing to share this life with.
