We have a room hold at several of the condos at the Village at Northstar. This is a great location - only 20 mins from the lake and 20 mins to the wedding location. We have a room block at this unique boutique hotel. It is located in the heart of Downtown Truckee with great shops, bars and restaurants. The Friday and Saturday rate is $399 per room/per night + taxes/waived resort fee. Sunday rate $299 per room/per night + taxes/ waived resort fee. The rate is offered 3 days pre and 3 days post main block dates. The $299 rate is good for Wed/Thurs/Mon/Tues.

We also suggest renting houses on VRBO & AirBnB. Being closer to the lake is a great experience and will still allow a pick up location centrally located for the shuttle to the wedding venue. Side note - VRBO has fewer fees and more flexible cancellation policies than Airbnb. Please know that there is a little bit of tension between locals and visitors, and be mindful not to exacerbate the situation by being loud or rude.
