We originally met in the same grade at Hermiston High School. We knew of each other through friends, but our friendship really began after high school when we reconnected on a dating app. We went out for a first date on April 4, 2024, and instantly enjoyed hanging out and being together. The next week, it seemed like we were inseparable, and we made it official on April 12th, 2024.

For the next few months, our friendship developed, and our love grew for each other. After 8 months of dating, Jimmy popped the question, and Ericka, barely able to breathe and speak out of excitement, accepted his proposal with glee :)
