The day they met, it was set up by two of their friends. It was a group date where they went out on Lake Austin for a surf night. They talked the whole time. The night ended early for Rachelle because she had another date that night. Jimmy got Rachelle’s number from one of their friends and texted her later that night in case she needed to be rescued.

They spent the whole summer getting to know one another and spending lots of time out on the lake, a place they both love and could spend time together amid social distancing

Halloween 2020, they hosted their first party together. Jim as the serial killer, Dexter, and Rachelle as one of his not so innocents victims. Rachelle did most of the hosting and Jim helped by moving furniture and hung the plastic.

November 22 2020, Jimmy threw a surprise party for Rachelle’s 30th Birthday and invited 20 of her closest friends to the historic Driskall Hotel where they could all be together. To his amazement, she was truly surprised.

Trip to Park City, UT January of 2021, a new chapter began for the two of them when Rachelle realized that Jimmy was the real deal. It was also when Rachelle met a little more of Jimmy's family at his sister's cabin.

An unexpected Texas snow storm shut down the city and Jimmy and Rachelle were stuck together in his home without electricity for four days. Fortunately, Jimmy had a well stocked pantry, a wood burning fireplace, a small gas generator, and running hot water. Add a few stranded friends, several bottles of wine, and tons of games and they felt like they were living a dream together.

Spring of 2020 soon came and they found they were inseparable. They made a list of the things they wanted to do together and set out to accomplish list they recorded. One of the things on the list: attend a local festival. Enter Seltzer Fest, a walking tour through the golf course in Jimmy's backyard sampling over 40 different seltzers. Fortunately, it was very close to home.

Jimmy and Rachelle attend Nascar at the Circuit of the Americas. This was the first race event the couple attended together. One of life's great treats is getting to spend it with the one you love.

A trip to Troutdale, Oregon would not be complete without visiting one of Rachelle's favorite places, McMenamins Edgefield. Jimmy's first trip to Oregon was also fielded with meeting Rachelle's dad and grandma along with several of Rachelle's closest friends.

They took a grand tour of Rachelle's childhood stomping grounds in Oregon and made many beautiful stops including Mt Hood. Later this very day, Jimmy decided he wanted to wade into the same river that this mountain was sending it's snowmelt runoff into.

They continued learning more about one another, supporting one another, and doing a lot of fun things together.

Another trip to Kansas, this time in July, when the weather was hot and an Arkansas River run means someone is getting wet and muddy. Thanks to Jimmy's brother, Rachelle got to experience the Arkansas River run in exactly that way. Rachelle absolutely loved the experience and chose to do it again.

They both loved spending time with each other and exploring the little things that life would offer them including special events sponsored by dear friends. Jimmy got to sing along to some of his favorite childhood bands.

A trip to Las Vegas's Fremont Street would be incomplete without your best friend. This trip made extra special by an unscheduled late night visit to numerous emergency clinics.

Couples who dance together, last forever.

October of 2021, Rachelle knew she wanted to marry Jimmy but she wasn’t ready yet.

November of 2021, Jimmy knew he wanted to marry Rachelle

Christmas time is always their favorite time of the year. Who would argue when you decorate SEVEN Christmas trees.

Jimmy talked to Rachelle's mom about his intentions to marry Rachelle but finds out that Rachelle is not quite ready yet.

Outings in cowboy hats are always fun. They both have a love of live music.

You would never know by the looks of these two that less than 12 hours prior to this photo the two of them were in the Austin airport, suffering from hangovers after an amazing night at Willy and George, preparing for a journey to the West Coast.

Rachelle is not a big fan of road trips and Jimmy grew up on them. Nothing says I love you more than saying yes to a 16 hour drive to the Carolinas in the Duraburban. iykyk.

June 5th 2022, 2 years together. As they reflect on the time together they both knew they wanted to be together long term.

Jimmy convinces Rachelle to paddle board through downtown Austin. Sometimes getting out of your comfort zone is less about what you are doing than who you are doing it with.

A trip to ACL always puts a smile on their faces. Friends, family, a short bus ride for some very special occupants. What's not to love? Jimmy had another conversation with Rachelle's mom about his intentions to ask for permission to marry Rachelle and this time... she was ready.

Football season, some times you win and some times you loose. At this game K-Stake goose egged Oklahoma State. That weekend Jimmy showed Rachelle around his collage stamping grounds. Go Wildcats!

Always enjoying their time together. For the spring for 2023 they went out with friends and dressed up for St. Patrick's Day and got to listen to live music. They went to the Austin BBQ festival where they went into a meat coma after. They also took a trip to NOLA with some friends.

Who doesn't love the bluebonnets

They kicked off the summer of 2023 in Nashville celebrating Rachelle's sisters 21st birthday and 3 years together. During the summer they moved in together, spent time out on the lake and ended it in Cali with Jimmy's family.

During the fall of 2023 you can find these two on the lake, listening to music, at the tracks, watching football, doing a puzzle, hanging with friends and family. But their favorite time is when they are together making memories and doing life together
