It all began in December 2019, at our region’s Christmas party. The holiday spirit filled the air, but amidst all the laughter and festive cheer, there was one person who unknowingly caught my attention. You were there, not trying to stand out, but somehow you did—your smile, the way you moved through the crowd with grace, and the warmth you radiated. I didn’t know it then, but that moment would mark the beginning of something truly special.

Fast forward three years. I still remembered you, and slowly but surely, I found myself drawn to your presence in the digital world. I’d find myself liking and reacting to every one of your Instagram and Facebook stories, unsure of how to start a conversation, but wanting to show you I was there, in some small way. I’ll admit, it was a little awkward at first—but I couldn’t help myself.

Then came May 2022. One night, I gathered up the courage to do something I’d been thinking about for a while: I messaged you. To my relief—and joy—you replied. That was the moment that everything changed. From that conversation, a friendship began to blossom, and before long, I was eager to spend more time with you. We joked about everything, and yet there was always a spark in our words, an undeniable connection.

One evening, I threw out the idea of a spontaneous late-night coffee. It was meant to be just that—casual, nothing too serious—but you agreed, and that night turned into something more than I ever imagined. It was during that time together, sharing stories, dreams, and even silences, that I realized I didn’t just want to be friends with you. I wanted to share my life with you.

A few months later, in March 2023, I found the courage to ask the most important question of my life: Will you marry me? And now, here we are—on the edge of forever, ready to take that step. The journey that began with a Christmas party and a few Instagram reactions is leading us to this moment, to a lifetime together.
