We were set up by a mutual friend back in late July of 2019. I was in a bad relationship at the time and he was single in need of and looking for a good woman. Our friend had told us about each other and immediately we started texting over Messenger. We were getting to know each other and had conversations over text over the next 5-6 days. We really wanted to meet each other. We officially met in person at a walking/hiking trail and just walked and talked and got to know each other some more by some rocks by a creek just enjoying the view, taking in our surroundings and enjoying each others company. We were both so nervous but it also felt so natural like we’ve known each other and been friends forever. I wanted to hold his hand so bad and sit as close to him as possible. I didn’t know it at time but he wanted to give me a kiss at the end of our meet up. Over the next couple of days we continued to talk and had wanted to go on a date. We had our first date at Texas Roadhouse; which I was so excited to eat at since it was one of my favorite restaurants. He picked me up at my parents house and met them; he looked so handsome in his black jeans and black Gun’s and Rose’s T-shirt and black cowboy boots. My parents liked and appreciated how polite and respectful he was in introducing himself and shaking my dads hand; like a true gentleman and brought me beautiful handpicked sunflowers from his neighbors garden with a camouflage bandanna rubber banded around them; his own personal touch which I loved because I love camouflage as well. The date went so well; we loved being with each other and held hands across the table looking lovingly in each other’s eyes. When he brought me back home and I thanked him for an amazing and wonderful date and sat with me and my parents and they talked and got to know him more. I walked with him back to his car and we started talking again some more in my parents drive way. He wanted to give me a kiss and asked if he could and I very happily said yes. What a great first kiss; butterflies and hearts fluttering and all. Admittedly that first kiss turned into a bit of steamy make out session. After that first date over the next few days he met up with me and my friend at the Park City mall and acted very much as a couple and holding hands but weren’t official yet. We decided at the spur of the moment at the end of the night to go on a second date at Longhorn Steakhouse. He asked me to be his girlfriend on that second date; August 7th 2019; we were official. Here we are 4 years later now after meeting his daughter and becoming another mother figure to her and building a little family together by moving in and getting two cats to add; I can’t wait to see where our journey takes us and what’s in store for our future and in our marriage. August 7th 2023 changed my life for the better; I said yes; I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with the love of my life. I can’t wait to become his wife! Here’s to us and the future Mr. And Mrs. Seibert!
