In 2017, Joanna & Casey met at a summer beach volleyball tournament where teams were randomly drawn. They were placed together on a team and hit it off throughout the day. They had a fun day laughing, playing volleyball, and participating in the extra activities provided at the event. By the end of the day, they exchanged numbers and joked about Casey being a plus 1 to a wedding Joanna was attending.

In 2018, they officially started dating!

The relationship started as long-distance while Joanna was attending RIT for her bachelor's degree. Through countless drives to and from Rochester, meeting families, going on adventures, and neighborhood walks with Damien, their story continued.

In 2020, COVID lockdown happened at the same time as Joanna's spring break. Casey had been searching for a house to purchase and had an offer accepted right before the world shut down. It was a no-brainer that Joanna would move with him and Damien to their new home in April.

February 2023, Casey proposed to Joanna at a very sentimental place for the both of them, Clark's Reservation.

Easiest "Yes" ever.

Now, the two of them have spent endless hours planning a beautiful and meaningful wedding where all their friends and family can support and celebrate alongside them as they tie the knot.
