Getting to Oaxaca:
Fly into Xoxocotlán International Airport (OAX). Major airlines like United Airlines, Aeromexico, American Airlines, and Volaris service the city.
** United Airlines and American Airlines offer direct flights from IAH to OAX. Aeromexico does not, they usually do a layover to Mexico City then to OAX.

Transportation: Taxis and shuttles are readily available from the airport, or you can rent a car for more flexibility.

Travel Tips: Don’t forget your passport! The local currency is the Mexican peso, and some places offer credit card payment.
