Courtney is Joanna's older sister. She has always been her rock and there for her whenever she needed. Courtney has always been a role model for her and she couldn't imagine anyone else helping her step-by-step on her big day.

Meagan and Joanna have been best friends since they were born. Their parents were always close so they grew up together. Even though they ended up living in different towns, they have remained best friends and staying in touch no matter what.

Alexsys and Joanna met during sixth grade when their lockers were next to each other. Ever since then, they have been inseparable. They have played soccer together and continue to support each other in anything that they do off the pitch.

Madeline and Joanna happened to meet at random when Joanna moved into her apartment in Radford. They hit it off instantly and have been getting together with other friends when they can. Madeline is Joanna's go to whenever she needs advice or just wants to hang out.

Cullen and Aiden, being brothers, have shared the same rocky relationship all siblings are familiar with. In recent years, they have grown closer and, both being US Marines, now share a tighter bond, and will always support each other.

Austin is a fellow Marine in Cullen's unit and often joked to be his "work husband". The two of them grew close over their most recent deployment, often relying on each other for advice over a drink while away from their families. Their friendship continues in much the same way to this day.

Alec is Joanna's brother, and made it very clear when Cullen and Joanna began dating that Cullen had to meet not only Joanna's expectations, but his as well. Over time, Alec has now become not only a close friend, but truly a brother to Cullen.

Christian and Cullen met when Joanna moved to Radford University, sharing an apartment with Christian, his girlfriend Madeline, and a mutual friend Abigail. They got along instantly, sharing similar senses of humor and often being able to relate on many different issues, helping make Christian and Madeline close friends to Cullen and Joanna in such a short time.

Kyle and Cullen met in high school, and have maintained a steady friendship since. Kyle was instrumental in the early days of Joanna and Cullen's relationship as he was a mutual friend between the two, and has maintained a close relationship over the years as well.
