Mia is Joanne's loving and fearless daughter. Their mother and daughter bond is unbreakable. They have traveled the world together, seen countless Broadway shows together and share a love for singing and dancing. Mia is extremely proud of the love that Howard and Joanne have found and is excited for their family to flourish and grow now and in the years to come.

JR is Howard's only nephew and, therefore, favorite nephew. They share a passion for cars, the Nationals and the Redskins (the entire family aren't quite over the name change). As Howard's only nephew, their special relationship is one of Howard's greatest loves. Howard was also JR's best man, when he married his wife, Amanda. Howard can't wait to make more memories with JR.

Jill and Joanne met over 20 years ago, while both working at Special Olympics. Their friendship and sisterhood is filled with laughter, through the good times and the bad times, especially during Joanne's cancer scare when Jill put her life on hold to be with Joanne for their 2-week slumber party recovery time. They both agree that everything is better with an Excel spreadsheet.

Baylor is our Woodley Pool family's youngest kiddo and everyone has gotten cuddles from him at the pool since he was born. Joanne is credited with telling Keenan and Michael to go make a baby after Adult Night and it worked!!! Warning: If you stare into Baylor's blue eyes for too long, you will fall in love with him.

Lola and the couple have quickly bonded while hanging out with her Mom, Michelle Kline. Lola is a kind and spunky girl and Joanne thinks Lola is a lot like her younger self. They also have that half-Bolivian thing going for them.

Arianna is Howard's third cousin but really Howard has always wanted to be her favorite Uncle. Joanne and Howard love how sweet and funny she is and love spending time with her. As Howard always says, "Arianna is such a cutie."

Rev. Kaeley McEvoy is an ordained minister in the United Church of Christ, a progressive Christian tradition. She lives in Mt. Pleasant surrounded by a misfit community of fellow artists, poets, and musicians. Rev. McEvoy currently works at Sojourners magazine and strives to create communal spaces with intention, integrity, and a little bit of whimsy.
