For those of you who haven't heard the story of how we met, it's fun to see how some of you react when we tell it. We were both still in the military at the time, but funny enough, we first met each other at the Marine Corps base gym in San Diego. If you're wondering who went up to who first, I (Joanne) actually had a pick up line ready. I knew if I asked Danny to spot me at the squat rack, the chances of him saying no were 50/50. But he agreed to help me out anyways. Afterwards, I asked him if he would want to train together more often so we exchanged numbers and he's been my gym partner ever since!

We have 2 beautiful dogs (Kona and Gunner) we consider our children. We lived in San Diego for the first 5 years of our relationship in a small apartment before moving to Austin, Texas. Being here in Texas has brought us many blessings, including being the city that Danny proposed to me in on March 6th, 2022. We decided to do a small intimate court wedding 4 months later.

However, a year later, we wanted the opportunity to share our big day with our close friends and family we're excited to share our special day with our friends and cherished loved ones.
