It all started with a swipe right on Tinder. What was supposed to be a first date turned into hours of driving around, learning about Mitch's train horn and talking about everything under the sun. From that day on, we were pretty much inseparable.
We spent countless nights hanging out, laughing and making memories. One snowy evening, we got snowed in together and our hangout streak kept continuing. We just knew that there was something special. Not long after, I met his mom and soon after that, Mitch joined my family for Christmas.
Soon after came COVID years and with that, came long distance. We spent so much time traveling back and forth between Oakville and Blenheim. Counting down the days until we could finally be back together in the same place.
When I started teachers college, we moved in together for the first time in St. Catharines and life was getting good. We decided to move in with his mom soon after to save up for our future. During that time, is when we brought home our sweet Ellie girl and she instantly become our world.
Eventually, we moved out to Beamsville and it has been home ever since. Between all the moves, there were several concerts, movie dates, road trips and travels. Back in November 2025, Mitch got down on one knee and asked me to marry him.
It's been an adventure filled with love, laughter and so many memories and we cannot wait for what is next.
