Almost 8 years ago, on a warm Saturday night in October, the Colgate Women's Ice Hockey Team&nbsp;got the invite to the men's hockey house in&nbsp;downtown Hamilton. Joc put on her cutest zebra striped top and joined her fellow &nbsp;teammates &nbsp;downtown,&nbsp;completely unaware she was about to meet the French Canadian boy of her dreams.&nbsp;

At the party, Joc caught Frank's eye, but she didn't quite buy into his charm...yet.&nbsp; Frank asked Joc's teammate, Poto, for Joc's number, and proceeded to text her, "Hey, its Francois," thinking how many Francois could she possibly know? He had no idea what he was getting himself into when he received a text back saying, "Francois who?", and thus began the romantic story of Frank & Jobin.&nbsp;

Over the course of her freshman year, and Frank's senior year, Joc and Frankie were inseparable. Joc adapted to college life quickly, pursuing her goal of working in education, while Frank was wrapping up his major in molecular biology and exploring options to play professional hockey after graduation.&nbsp;

By May of 2011, Joc and Frankie were the best&nbsp;couple any of us knew, but their&nbsp;relationship&nbsp;was about to be challenged by Frankie's graduation and resulting long-distance relationship. Frankie moved around from Europe, to Ontario, California, but eventually moved back to Montreal to begin graduate school. During this time, Frank and Joc missed each other terribly, but made it work through Skype and Frank paying many visits to Colgate.&nbsp;

The timing ended up being a blessing in disguise, as Joc finished her undergrad at the same time that Frankie finished his graduate degree. The two were more in love than ever, proving that long-distance can work for the right people, and after Joc's graduation, the pair&nbsp;&nbsp;headed off to Boston to start their new life together.&nbsp;

After a few career changes and overcoming some challenges at the American&nbsp;border, Frankie and Joc finally&nbsp;settled into life in Boston, together. On Joc's 25th birthday, Frank proposed, knowing he wanted to be Frank and Jobin for life.
