Jocelyne and Michael met freshman year of High School. They had assigned seats together in Spanish class and Michael used the Flat Stanley project as an excuse to slide into Jocelyne's DM's - and that's where everything started! Michael officially asked Jocelyne to be his girlfriend on August 9th, 2013 at a park in the neighborhood.

Over the next couple years they were able to experience many firsts together - first dates, first dances, both failing the first attempt of their driver license exams (but both passing the next day), being the first boyfriend/girlfriend brought home to the family and many more.

Jocelyne and Michael both got into UW-Whitewater and studied business. Both took leadership roles, worked, and studied their butts off to graduate. They were able to support each other through all of these challenges and being in a stressful environment. They also adopted their perfect dog son Trubisky during this time and started their little family!

After graduating, Jocelyne and Michael moved into their first place together in East Troy, WI and began their professional careers. Within just a few short years they advanced in their careers and moved to New Berlin, WI to be closer to downtown Milwaukee where their offices are located.

On August 5th 2023, Michael took Jocelyne back to the neighborhood park where he first asked her to be his girlfriend to propose. He created an aisle and big heart with flowers petals and candles and also made her a picture book highlighting many beautiful moments from their lives together. She obviously said yes and the wedding plan started!

Jocelyne and Michael will be married in Milwaukee surrounded by their loved ones on August 9th 2025 - their 12 year anniversary of being together. While 12 years seems like a long time it is still just the beginning of their long beautiful life together!
