Emily is not only Jodi's sister, but her best friend. Emily and Jodi have been through many life events together and it only makes sense that Emily is standing next to Jodi during her big day. Emily has been Jodi's role model and a person she loves and trusts for as long as she can remember.

Ashley and Jodi met in college at SDSU and ever since then they have been close friends. Jodi and Ashley have been there for each other during their best days and worst days. Jodi cannot wait to have Ashley stand by her side at her big day.

Klaire and Jodi have been best friends since preschool. They went to k-12 together and played years of volleyball on the same team. Jodi and Klaire have some of the best memories together from many different phases of their lives. Jodi is thankful to have Klaire as a lifelong friend.

Skyla and Jodi have been friends for just over 4 years. Skyla and Jodi met through mutual friends in high school and quickly developed a very close friendship themselves. Years later, Jodi and Skyla are still very close and both even work at the hospital together. Jodi is excited to see Skyla accomplish all of her goals in life and have her by her side during Jodi's big day.

Mckenna and Jodi met Mckenna's freshman year of college at SDSU when they were in the same organization raising money for the Children's Miracle Network. Kenna has a heart of gold and is one of the most selfless individuals Jodi knows. Kenna and Jodi have been friends ever since and Jodi is beyond blessed to have a friend like McKenna in her life.

Brinna and Jodi were roommates their junior year of college. Brinna's room was right next to Jodi's so they spent many hours yapping together. Brinna is a proud Aunt to Jodi and Jacob's baby, Tig. Brinna is a kind soul who changes the world one day at a time to make it a better place. Jodi is glad to have a fun, outgoing, kind woman like Brinna next to her side.

Hannah and Jodi are first cousins and have spent countless hours together at family functions, the lake, and, of course, Hannah playing with Jodi's hair. Hannah and Jodi worked at the local Bar and Grille together as well. Jodi loves watching Hannah become a compassionate and selfless woman. Hannah will do anything for anyone. Jodi is happy to not only have a family member like Hannah but have a close friend like her as well.

Kim and Jodi hit it off when their boyfriends were roommates. Kim and Jodi built a bond when they had countless sleepovers at the boys' house from making brownies to learning how to play poker to make their boyfriends happy. Kim is a fun and wise woman Jodi is lucky to know!

Carson was not only blessed to have Jacob as a brother but also a friend. Carson keeps Jacob on his toes and helps him fill his big brother role. Over the years Jacob and Carson have built a tight knit bond. Carson has taken over the role as "Unc" to Jacob's cat!

Jack is Jodi's brother, so not only is he a friend of Jacob but soon to be family! Jack and Jacob have bonded over their love of sports and teasing Jodi. Jack and Jacob have grown over the years and Jacob knows that Jack will always be there if he needs!

Tristan and Jacob have similar personalities, so they quickly built a bond through all of the family functions they have spent together. Jacob is excited to become an uncle to Tristan and Emily's baby! Jacob has also had fun pulling pranks on Tristan with Jodi!

Jacob and Jalen met in Engineering School at South Dakota State University. Jalen has since been a staple part of Jacobs life. The boys not only spend their days together in school but hunt and hangout all the time! Jalen is a very kind man that Jacob knows will be there for him through thick and thin.

Logan met Jacob through Matt! Matt introduced Logan to Jacob when they all became college roommates. Logan has been a constant for Jacob to turn to. Logan brings a kind and fun personality to the group of boys.

Jacob met Landin when they moved in together junior year. Shortly after, Jodi and Landin's girlfriend, Olivia, bonded. They did many fun nights together as couples. Jacob and Landin still have fun and see each other frequently. Landin has a great personality that forms Jacob into a better person. Landin and Olivia are a couple that Jodi and Jacob can always turn to for advice and support.

Matt and Jacob met through men's league hockey when they both played on the "Cocks". They then played on SDSU hockey team together. Matt and Jacob also have Engineering classes together. In their junior year of college, Matt and Jacob were roommates. The boys are always getting into shenanigans together and making fond memories.

Wyatt and Jacob met through the SDSU hockey team! They then lived together junior year with the other three boys. Wyatt, Jacob, and the boys spent many late night dates to Zesto's for a fun treat. Wyatt and Jacob spent many hours together playing hockey.

Candace and Jodi met through Jodi’s long time friend, Connor. Candace is a role model for Jodi who is always inspiring her to be a better person and be kind everyone! Candace is also the best pet mama that Jodi bonds with! Candace is a beautiful person with a large heart.

Ashley and Jodi met through nursing school. Ashley made the mistake of sitting by Jodi and since then, has been a constant for Jodi! Jodi often texts Ashley random questions at random times to relieve her anxiety related to nursing school! Ashley was also Jacobs PCT during his accident. The couple are so grateful that Ashley was there in the most critical moments of Jacobs life!

Sadie is a beam of life that inspires everyone to enjoy and live their best life! Jodi and Sadie met freshman year of college and have been friends since. Sadie and Jodi lived together during Junior year of college. Sadie and Jacob are also close friends and have the same sense of humor!

Connor and Jodi have been friends for many many years! Jodi’s favorite thing to say is “my best friend is a cop!”. Connor is a great guy with a kind heart! He fits right in with the Buysse family. In fact, Connor was there when Jodi found out Emily and Tristan were going to get married AND was the man of the dance floor at Emily and Tristan’s wedding!

Joe and Jacob met in college! Joe has a fun and out going personality that brings life to Jacob! Jacob knows Joe will be there for anything Jake needs!

Garett and Jacob went to school together since they were just little boys! They grew up and played hockey together. These two boys were not only teammates but they were also best friends! Jacob and Garett were also roommates freshman year of college. They soon become teammates at SDSU as well on the Jacks hockey team!

Ryan and Jacob met in college! The boys share the same hobbies and have similar personalities! Jacob is lucky to have Ryan in his life!

Charlie is Jacob’s first cousin. Jacob adores miss Charlie and couldn’t imagine a better flowgirl. Charlies spunk and cuteness will bring a new vibe to the wedding to make it extra special.

Miss Rabent was born at the most perfect time. Right before Covid, Rabent came into this world. During Covid Jodi experienced many hardships that she still faces today. Rabent is often referred to as “Jodi’s saving grace”. Rabent is full of spunk and love that Jodi and Jacob soak up every second they can!
