David and I met in 2010 at parent teacher conferences! He was my son’s middle school band teacher! The band parents and I watched his band play at Rogers Roost a couple times. After he left middle school we became friends on Facebook, but never really talked. In January 2023 I received a “Happy New Year “ message on Facebook Messenger! We began to text back and forth, however I wouldn’t go out with him. In fact I told him “he was not the one for me” but David continued to pursue the idea of us going out together! Finally in April 2023 I met him for dinner. The conversation never stopped we could talk for hours, the laughter was endless! We had so much in common, every day was something amazingly new that we discovered about one another! Then a year later April 2024 David got down on one knee!! The rest as they say is history! Destiny!
